I had my car repaired at Simplicity after a hit and run in April 2022. One of the worse experiences I have had. I kept on insisting that something else was wrong with my car because after I picked it up there was a horrible squeaky noise when I drove it. It kept getting louder and louder. They kept telling me it had nothing to do with the accident. To make a long story short, they ended up having it looked at by their mechanic and they found a crack in the frame (not sure if it is called undercarriage). They ended up fixing it but after much yelling on my part (was really stressed and frustrated). Finally it was fixed or so I thought. Next thing that happened is that some rubber trim in the front of the car fell off. Took it back as it was hanging. They clipped it back in but a few days later it fell off. They tried to tell me that I must have hit something. I never hit anything. It was on the front end that was repaired. So now part of my trim is missing. I am writing to the insurance company to make a formal complaint. The insurance company told me I have a life time warranty but I am hesitant to go back to them as they are going to give me the same story that I must have it something. I am normally a polite person but what they put me through was terrible.

They did a really great job fixing up my car, very happy with the results. Super friendly staff and even gave my car a very nice interior clean as a bonus. Keep up the great work everyone there.

This is the best car service I have received in a while. The whole staff was very friendly, they listened to my needs and finished everything right on time before I had to leave for a long vacation. Everyone should’ve seen my face when I saw that they not only cleaned the outside but also inside of my car for me. Thank you to everyone at simplicity

10 Stars.You folks are awesome. my car looks better than it did before it got hit by a bus. Cleaner on the inside. Looks new again. outside looks fantastic. Originally, my car was towed to a separate shop called assured, and I’m really glad it ended up with you folks. Thank you everyone in the body shop and the paint shop. Thank you Sarah and Kim for helping me out with my vehicle through stressful irritating time. You really made this experience as good as possible. Thank you for driving my car respectfully. What a huge relief. The car looks pretty much perfect and brand new and it has almost 40,000 km on it. Absolutely exceptional!

I was recommended Simplicity by someone close to me who had repairs done on her car when it was in an accident because she had a great experience with them, but when I was in an accident it was an awful experience, and I never write bad reviews but this because infuriating. They they were to inspect my car along with my insurance adjuster, then my insurance company would decide if it was a write off, which they did the next day. My insurance company said I would be paid out for my written off car as soon as they pick up the car from Simplicity (which I LATER found out shouldn't have been the case, but that was on my insurance company). I tried to release my ca to the insurance company and have them pick my car up but they said they could not release my car to them because they have not completed the invoice for them (all it was for was keeping the vehicle there for a few days, should be a pretty simple task). After days and days I asked when the invoice would be complete and they kept telling me that they had a lot of invoiced to do and they didn't have time to do mine since I was at the bottom of their list. No exaggeration here, after 2 whole weeks they told me they still didn't have time to write me up an invoice to release my car, which I believe was likely there way of billing my insurance company for every extra day that the vehicle was there. I tried being as nice as possible and was met with rude responses saying I was being selfish for wanting to have my invoice done when they had so much work to do, they literally just had to make bill for us to pay so we could take my car and they refused! MULTIPLE times they told me "tomorrow it will be done, today it will be done, blah blah blah" and it was a lie every time, even when a week into this deal I told them I needed the car to be released so I could get my payment to buy a new car which I really needed, they did not car. They finally said they were doing it "Right now" so I said I would send a tow truck right now and they said "Sorry today we're deciding to close today at noon and it's a long weekend so you can come next week". It took almost 3 weeks just for them to make me an invoice it was absolutely insane, they're scammers. It seems like as long as you're paying them to do actual work on your car, they're great, but as soon as your insurance decides to write your car off and they know they're not getting a bigger paycheck for work, they decide to scam your insurance company and in turn, scam you. I'm SURE they will respond to this review and say some lies like I'm exaggerating or not telling the truth but every word here is exactly how it went down, and remember, they're try to make themselves sound like they're in the right, but it's only because I won't be able to respond to their response, since that's how google review work. Don't go here lol.

I recently had my SUV repaired at simplicity (through insurance) after being in a collision.Absolutely reccommend them. They made my life so easy having a rental set up for me and driving me to pick it up after dropping off my car. Then when I came to pick up my car not only did they take care of returning my rental for me I noticed that my car had been fully detailed when I got in.Thanks so much guys. You saved this busy mama a lot of time and energy!

I recently had my Subaru repaired at Simplicity/Streamline after a somewhat minor collision, and unfortunately, my overall experience has been less than satisfactory. As someone with a very busy schedule, the inconveniences I faced only added to my frustrations.Upon picking up my car, I noticed several issues that left me quite disappointed. The most noticeable problem was the fitment of the front bumper cover, which was off, and the headlights were not properly aimed, resulting in poor visibility while driving at night and even leading other drivers to flash their high beams at me, assuming mine were on. When I raised my concerns about the bumper cover, I was told that "someone tried to get it perfect for a few hours and what I was given is the best they could do."Moreover, I was disappointed to find that the fog lamp, which was damaged during the accident, not being replaced during the repairs. Leaving it still damaged when I picked up the vehicle, collecting condensation behind the lens. To add to my frustration, I discovered a broken headlight mounting bolt. (to which they claim was broken when I brought the vehicle in, but they'll repair it anyway). Right...Adding to the frustration, the vehicle was ready a week prior to me picking it up. Simplicity claimed the insurance company gave them the wrong number, but I specifically wrote down my phone number on their release form when I first dropped the vehicle off.I appreciate that the body shop is working with me to rectify these issues, but the fact that my vehicle was given back to me in this condition after unnecessary delays is the reason for my 2-star rating. It's disappointing that I now have to take additional time out of my day to make another appointment with Simplicity, arrange for a rental car, and go through the hassle of further repairs when it could have been avoided with better attention to detail before the vehicle was released to me.While I appreciate their willingness to address the problems, the inconvenience, delays, and time wasted could have been prevented with better quality control and more thorough workmanship during the initial repairs.I hope that Simplicity will take this feedback constructively and improve their services to ensure a more satisfactory experience for their future customers.Edit:Reduced from a two to a one star review, do not bring your vehicle here. I've attached a photo of my headlight beam pattern, after simplicity "fixed" their mistake.Thanks guys, smoke some more crack.

They were the only ones taking in any car in this city. So far, so good. The front desk found a rental for me right away vs. my TD insurance, who was making me wait 5 days🙄 AT the same car rental company . Explain that 🤷🏻‍♀️They're friendly here and super helpful and clearly is better than my insurance company on finding a rentalWill update when the car gets fixedJuly 14th

Very poor customer service; stating attempted to contact customer but did not, documented miscommunication with insurance company as well. Not very trustworthy unfortunately. Disappointing. Highly recommend using a reputable business like Zenetec.

I am going neutral at this time because I have not gotten any service from Simplicity Car Care yet however the first impressions were good let's see the end results when my car gets fixed so you know for you to be asking for info on something the people don't experience yet it's kind of a little kind of putting one foot in front of the other

Came here after being told there was no appointments at nearby Assured. Great service and great people. I was told my vehicle is driveable at Assured in spite of multiple loose parts which is quite irresponsible. Simplicity helped me get a rental as soon as possible and even drove me home in their in their own vehicle since I couldn’t get a rental the day i dropped of my vehicle. Responsive with all my inquiries and helped me thru the whole process. I also love that they have moms who work here as they understood i could not drive around an unsafe vehicle with my small toddler inside.Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Minor bumper cover damage. Mike had me in and out in record time! Car looks better than before I damaged the bumper. The team went above and beyond!! I couldn’t be happier and am very pleased to recommend them!!

What a butcher shop!!!! Don't bring your vehicle here as this people don't know anything about bodywork or paint. Insurance send us here and now we have missing parts and all broken used parts from the accident. Your better off going to fix it auto as they are very professional and very good at their work. I think we will get our lawyer to go after them now.

Great service with an amazing result. Kim was very helpful with communication and my vehicle was completed in great time. In the back where all the magic happens I only know David, but everyone who worked on my car did an amazing job. Looks fantastic and a great finished result. Would definitely go back to them for any other work and highly recommend them. 👌

Was referred to them by family after having horrible service/ botched repairs at another shop. Rob and Kim were amazing to deal with. Got my vehicle in quickly and did an amazing job fixing issues from the other shop. Well worth the 2 hour drive!

Stopped in with out appointment to ask if a problem with my car could be repaired, the answer was yes and if you give me your keys I’ll do it right now while you wait. A half hour later I was on my way…the repair no charge…wow these guys breath service, go there!

Great service, honest workers. Kim was helpful and made sure to get back to me whenever I had a question. Repair was quicker than expected, especially during the current supply chain issues. They even cleaned my car, which I did not expect!

Our car required a bumper repair (not an insurance claim). We got a reasonable quote quickly. Staff were friendly and accommodating ensuring our repair was done on time at the cost quoted. I’d highly recommend Simplicity in Etobicoke.

I've had several of my personal vehicles collision work done here over the last 15 years or so. Always happy with the service and the quality! They used to have a different shop name, but still the same great service! I've referred several friends and everyone left happy!
